Standards and Qualifications Provided

Together with the various lessons and training provided for the different musical instruments, the Traditional Music Teachers’ Association also offers its graduates and course participants several standards and qualifications that may only be attained at the association.

Depending on the program each
different member opts for, there will be a different certificate provided. This skill grants the recipients different qualifications and standards that can allow him or her to practice the learned skills into the various countries, institutions, and environments.

There are three primary skills provided, each one offering 6547498051_b216f2ae80_bdifferent rights and inherent standards:

  • International Qualification for Musical Teaching

This first type of certification will grant its recipients the opportunity to practice music teaching in any country, which is a signatory to the Geneva Convention, and in all educational levels available in the respective country

  • National Qualification for Musical Teaching

This second type of certification will allow its recipients to practice music teaching in all the accredited musical institutions from the recipients’ country of origin

  • Local Qualification for Musical Teaching

This last certification offered by the Traditional Music Teachers’ Association will provide only local music teaching rights to its recipients, therefore limiting them to the county or district where they were born.

Regardless of the program one chooses and the qualifications it offers, the quality standards for each one is outstanding and is recognized world-wide as one of the best musical teaching standards provided to date.

Each time a graduate leaves the doors of the Traditional Music Teachers’ Association, he or she can be confident that they have collected some of the most appreciated musical teaching qualifications in the entire world and that their stay there was time well spent.
